This racing season aims to maintain and build upon the local and traditional sport of camel racing. Through a series of races, Al Marmoum 2013/2014 hopes to instill is a desire in the hearts of citizens of the UAE to long for traditional customs and practices that are no longer a prominent part of their lives.
